According to Japan Times it was the United States Government who suggested the dumping of low-level radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean. I am sure this will create a strong debate as to who said what, but the question would be why?
What would any of the parties involved gain by dumping tons of waste water in the Pacific Ocean ? As of right now, they had nothing to gain unless they were looking to destroy our oceans precious sea life .
Japan and TEPCO covered up radiation levels 7.5 million times above legal limits in the seawater. Sadly these were levels measured in the seawater before they dumped 3 million gallons of radioactive water into the ocean. That plan was followed through with and Japan dumped 3 million gallons of radioactive water into the ocean
NOTE: A lot of speculation can be done here, but what purpose will that serve? In my opinion, it will only divert our needed energy for more positive matters, like maintaining our health and keeping track of the crisis.
