Real Food Fights

A million pounds of ground beef recalled. A billion dollars of peanut butter recalled. A 21-state recall of bagged spinach. 500 million eggs recalled.

We all know something is terribly wrong with the commercialized food industry. It's too big.

The question is: how do we fix it?

For millions of people in the Real Food Rights movement, the solution is simple.

End $25 billion in factory farm subsidies every year. Avoid foods from factory farms. Buy fresh and local. Support local farm-to-consumer ecosystems.

Why? Because Real Food Safety means your hamburger has the meat of one healthy pasture grazed cow in it. Not 400 unhealthy corn-fed cows mixed together in a USDA meat processing plant.

Because REAL FOOD SAFETY comes from fresh raw milk from a small herd of open pasture cows or goats grazing on healthy family farms, not hundreds of commercial milk cows crammed together in factory farms, fed corn instead of grass until they're ripe with infections that require antibiotics, and pumped up with growth hormones.

Because REAL SAFE MILK doesn't come from mixing the milk of thousands of cows together (homogenizing it) in huge vats, and then cooking it (pasteurizing) at high temperatures until the milk is nutritionally dead in order to kill all the bad bacteria that naturally grow in such unnatural mass production facilities.

That's our definition of UNSAFE FOOD.
