Bulgaria Says US Military Bases May NOT Be Used For Iran Attacks

'The Bulgarian Foreign Minister says US military bases in the country will not be used for a potential US strike on Iran over Tehran’s peaceful nuclear program.

Nikolay Mladenov's remarks came before the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Bulgaria’s capital city of Sofia on Sunday to discuss a number of security issues with Bulgarian leaders, including the situation in Iran and Syria.

During the past week, Bulgarian media quoted anonymous Bulgarian government sources as saying that Clinton was expected to request one of the four contracted US military bases in Bulgaria be open for use for an operation against Iran.'
