U.S. babies are dying at an increased rate. While the United States spends billions on medical care, as of 2006, the US ranked 28th in the world in infant mortality, more than twice that of the lowest ranked countries. (DHHS, CDC, National Center for Health Statistics. Health United States 2010, Table 20, p. 131, February 2011.)
The recent CDC Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report indicates that eight cities in the northwest U.S. (Boise ID, Seattle WA, Portland OR, plus the northern California cities of Santa Cruz, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, and Berkeley) reported the following data on deaths among those younger than one year of age:
4 weeks ending March 19, 2011 - 37 deaths (avg. 9.25 per week)
10 weeks ending May 28, 2011 - 125 deaths (avg.12.50 per week)
This amounts to an increase of 35% (the total for the entire U.S. rose about 2.3%), and is statistically significant. Of further significance is that those dates include the four weeks before and the ten weeks after the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant disaster. In 2001 the infant mortality was 6.834 per 1000 live births, increasing to 6.845 in 2007. All years from 2002 to 2007 were higher than the 2001 rate.
Spewing from the Fukushima reactor are radioactive isotopes including those of iodine (I-131), strontium (Sr-90) and cesium (Cs-134 and Cs-137) all of which are taken up in food and water. Iodine is concentrated in the thyroid, Sr-90 in bones and teeth and Cs-134 and Cs-137 in soft tissues, including the heart. The unborn and babies are more vulnerable because the cells are rapidly dividing and the delivered dose is proportionally larger than that delivered to an adult.

A Chinese national company is interested in developing a 10,000- to 30,000-acre technology zone for industry, retail centers and homes south of the Boise Airport.
Officials of the China National Machinery Industry Corp. have broached the idea — based on a concept popular in China today — to city and state leaders.
They are also interested in helping build and finance a fertilizer plant near American Falls, an idea company officials returned to Idaho this month to pursue.
This ambitious, long-term proposal would start with a manufacturing and warehouse zone tied to the airport, and could signify a shift in the economic relationship between the two superpowers — a relationship once defined by U.S. companies like the J.R. Simplot Co., Hewlett-Packard and Morrison-Knudsen that would head to China to build and develop.

German E Coli By Design?
While strolling the net, I hear a lot of buzz lately about how dirty organic processing is because free-range cattle poop on the ground where plants are grown that people eat, and that all organic seeds should be irradiated to kill the deadly e-coli pathogens inherent in this system. That is the spin, based on half-truths and outright lies. The truth is, organic farming has proven to be safer and healthier than its factory farm cousins. Poop from organic, free-range cows that lands on the soil is not the problem.
I grow my veggies in organic poop, and have never been sick from a head of cabbage, bean sprout, or beet. So, either this latest “threat” in the form of e-coli was a concocted event intended to lead to the eradication of organics or simply an advantageous situation that is being exploited by the powers that be. Either way, here is a possible anticipated outcome:
What if the deadly e-coli outbreak in Germany that was blamed on organic sprouts with no direct proof, but through circumstantial evidence only, was instituted as part of a deliberate campaign to sway public opinion in favor of compliance with Codex regulations and to call for the irradiation of organic seeds?
Whether the contamination came from the water, seeds, was genetically engineered in a lab specifically for this purpose, or was a natural and unreported product of the genetic engineering process and high rate of GM contamination we are currently experiencing, makes no difference at this point to the people, and I use that term lightly, who are taking advantage of every situation to turn it to their favor and make a fast buck off others’ misery.
NOTE: Living rurally, it's impossible to stretch my imagine to believe that people actually believe that organic compost or manure is somehow unhealthy. Until industrial farming took over to contaminate and poison the earth, crops and people with toxic chemicals, all farming was done using natural, organic imputs. In other words, composted, or aged manures of various types, along with everything that is compostable.
Personally, for our garden we use a combination of goat, horse, llama manure mixed with urine soak straw. This ages and then is applied to the soil. We don't till. In just a season or two the most gorgeous, fertile soil is created using only what is readily available on most farm type properties.
It's a circle.
You eat organic produce from your garden, the trimmings and "waste" is given to the goats, chickens, horses and they in turn provide manure that is used for compost to be applied to the garden. Efficient and really nothing tastes better than fresh from the garden. Please don't fall for the nonsense that using nature's remedies creates problems. It doesn't.

Strontium 290 x Higher Groundwater Fuku
- Radioactive contamination from the stricken nuclear power facility Fukushima has worsened, the operators Tepco warned Sunday, with probes of groundwater turning up traces of strontium that were 240 times above the allowable maximum limit.

Ministry Of "Truth"
It sounds like such an innocent idea, one rooted in "fairness" and wrapped in good intentions. An internet "ministry of truth," run either by the federal government or the United Nations, to protect against "misinformation and rumors" that find their way to the information superhighway.
Such an agency "would have to be an independent federal agency that no president could countermand or anything else because people wouldn't think you were just censoring the news and giving a different falsehood out."
Clinton's call for this new federal agency comes on the heels of similar rantings by a man named Cass Sunstein, the Obama administration's info-czar, who all Web sites should be forced to link to opposing viewpoints or contain pop-ups filled with government information.
George Orwell must be laughing in his grave; our founding fathers must be rolling over in theirs.

NASA Points To HAARP
Recent data released by Dimitar Ouzounov and colleagues from the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland highlights some strange atmospheric anomalies over Japan just days before the massive earthquake and tsunami struck on March 11.
Seemingly inexplicable and rapid heating of the ionosphere directly above the epicenter reached a maximum only three days prior to the quake, according to satellite observations, suggesting that directed energy emitted from transmitters used in the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) may have been responsible for inducing the quake
Some would argue that HAARP is not capable of producing such frequencies, especially at the power levels that would be required to induce a massive earthquake like the 9.0+ that occurred in Japan. But testimony by various governments says otherwise.
On April 28, 1997, then US Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen gave an important keynote address at the Conference on Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and US Strategy at the University of Georgia in Athens. When asked a question about terrorism, Cohen had this to say as part of his response about the type of technology that existed, even back then:
"Others are engaging even in an eco-type terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves"
Also, readings from the HAARP Induction Magnetometer, which visualizes the frequency spectrum of signals detected in the earth's geomagnetic field, show that a steady, ultra-low frequency (ULF) of roughly 2.5 Hz was being broadcast days before the earthquake. The 2.5 Hz ULF happens to be the exact same frequency as the natural resonance produced by an earthquake -- and since there were no constant earthquakes occurring on the days before the quake as the HAARP Induction Magnetometer appeared to indicate, the logical conclusion is that the signal was being broadcast to induce the quake

Fukushima is going to dwarf Chenobyl. The Japanese government has had a level 7 nuclear disaster going for almost a week but won’t admit it.
The disaster is occurring the opposite way than Chernobyl, which exploded and stopped the reaction. At Fukushima, the reactions are getting worse. I suspect three nuclear piles are in meltdown and we will probably get some of it.
If reactor 3 is in meltdown, the concrete under the containment looks like lava. But Fukushima is not far off the water table. When that molten mass of self-sustaining nuclear material gets to the water table it won’t simply cool down. It will explode –not a nuclear explosion, but probably enough to involve the rest of the reactors and fuel rods at the facility.
Pouring concrete on a critical reactor makes no sense — it will simply explode and release more radioactive particulate matter. The concrete will melt and the problem will get worse. Chernobyl was different — a critical reactor exploded and stopped the reaction. At Fukushima, the reactor cores are still melting down. The ONLY way to stop that is to detonate a ~10 kiloton fission device inside each reactor containment vessel and hope to vaporize the cores. That’s probably a bad solution.
A nuclear meltdown is a self-sustaining reaction. Nothing can stop it except stopping the reaction. And that would require a nuclear weapon. In fact, it would require one in each containment vessel to merely stop what is going on now. But it will be messy.
Fukushima was waiting to happen because of the placement of the emergency generators. If they had not all failed at once by being inundated by a tsunami, Fukushima would not have happened as it did – although it WOULD still have been a nuclear disaster. Every containment in the world is built to withstand a Magnitude 6.9 earthquake; the Japanese chose to ignore the fact that a similar earthquake had hit that same general area in 1896.
Anyway, here is the information that the US doesn’t seem to want released. And here is a chart that might help with perspective.

Sobering Fukushima Health Impacts World
Science has long studied the effects of stress, extreme disasters, and imminent death on the actions and thought process of those working on-scene, as well as those living in the surrounding area. The danger of radiation is that it is undetectable, and when faced with a threat that exceeds understanding and imagination, the majority of the those affected have trouble believing the threat is real.
Radiation affects the body directly through the tissue, muscles, bones, and other organs in the body. The most terrifying aspect of radiation is that it destroys and mutates DNA in the human body, destroying what makes an individual “human” -- including the unique strand of DNA that sets you apart from all of the other carbon-based life-forms on the earth today. Low-level radiation promotes the slow release of ‘free radicals’, or unstable molecules. Production of the most common, oxygen free radicals, is increased by protracted exposure to the radioactivity of ingested fission products. Oxygen free radicals (unstable oxygen molecules with an extra electron) are attracted to the membranes of cells, which they then disable.
At Chernobyl, there was less than 150 tons of waste entombed in the final sarcophagus. More than half of the Caesium-137 released in the explosion was carried in the atmosphere to other European nations. At Fukushima it is estimated there is close to 10,000 tons of melted corium constantly working to escape the control of TEPCO and the workers on-site.

Dr Ernest Sternglass of University of Pittsburg presented the following infant mortality rate for the Pacific states, following chernobyl fallout in May 1986, just one month after Chernobyl:
* May 1986 54% increase infant mortality in Washington state
* May 1986 48% increase infant mortality in California compared to previous June
* June 1986 245% increase deaths per thousand live births in Washington state
* June 1986 900% increse infant mortality rate per live births in Massachusetts
These problems will face those who inhale or ingest even the smallest particle of radioactive material:
* premature births
* increased deaths after live births
* increased infant pneumonia & influenza
* increased leukemia
* increased learning defects
* increased thyroid cancer
* increased breast cancer
* immune deficiency disorders
* increased chronic degenerative disorders
When you hear the news or some Nuclear or Health Official telling you that "only extremely low levels of radiation have been detected and therefore there is no need to be concerned, there is no health threat to the American public."
Do not be comforted by this false sense of security. The first part of the statement is true, but the remainder is false.
It's not the loud noise that break glass molecules, it's the frequency.
It's not the strong microwave levels that cause cellular damage, it's the frequency

TSA Wants To Ban Checkpoint Photography
The Transportation Security Administration is considering changing its policy on photographing security checkpoints after several videos depicting questionable incidents between passengers and TSA screeners were posted on Youtube.
News of the possible changes in policy was posted Friday on the TSA Blog, the same blog that posted that it is permissible to photograph checkpoints, even though most screeners act as if it has always been illegal.
The reason it is considering changing its policy stems from a Youtube video that was recorded in Phoenix when a woman opted-out of the metal detectors and chose to get patted down by a TSA screener.
The woman began yelling hysterically that she had been molested by the screener.
Meanwhile, the woman’s son was recording the incident and continued to do so, even though several TSA screeners told him he was breaking the law.
It is impossible to tell whether the woman was molested in the video, but it’s clear that the TSA screeners were creating their own laws in dealing with the videographer - as they’ve done so many times before.
NOTE: Just as Texas started pending legislation to ban TSA in their state, each state can evict them. However, states are buckling to terrorism threats from TSA. We must reject physical assault.

Although a reactor is legally cleared for restart once it receives approval from the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency, a trade ministry watchdog, nuclear operators always seek local government approvals as well, for the support from the community around the plant.

NOTE: This legislation has been twisting and turning for several years. Most recently all funding was taken away, but apparently it keeps rearing it's ugly head. Now, ask yourself why would the government want to control all individuals "food" animals. Yet it does nothing to control CAFO animals. One CAFO with 10,000 animals would have only 1 ID.

However, IF this law comes into effect, there is a work around that will make things much harder to suppress. Each You Tube or other entity that wants to make a video available would provide the actual LINK to the video, rather than the embedded code, and a person would then download the VIDEO FILE to their site.
They would then be looking at it on the original site, instead of another Blog etc. The law doesn't say one can't look at videos.

GMO Alters Our Bodies
There are no human clinical trials of genetically engineered foods. The only published human feeding experiment revealed that genetic material inserted into GE soy transfers into the DNA of bacteria living inside our intestines and continues to function. Even after we stop eating GE foods, we may still have the GE proteins produced continuously inside us.
As the Institute for Responsible Technology has noted, the genetic engineering process creates massive collateral damage, causing mutations in hundreds or thousands of locations throughout the plant’s DNA. Natural genes can be deleted or permanently turned on or off, and hundreds may change their behavior. Even the inserted gene can be damaged or rearranged, and may create proteins that can trigger allergies or promote disease.
The idea of having genetically engineered genes permanently living inside our guts has staggering implications:
* If the antibiotic gene inserted into most GM crops were to transfer, it could create antibiotic-resistant diseases.
* Bt toxins (Bacillus thuringiensis) inserted into GM food crops to kill pests are reaching the bloodstreams of 93% of women and 80% of unborn babies because of the consumption of meat, milk, and eggs from livestock fed GE corn. This could turn bacteria in our intestines into pesticide factories.
* Animal studies show that DNA in food can travel into organs throughout the body, even into the fetus.
And we’ve seen cross-species transfer of DNA happen before. A significant percentage of human DNA is actually viral DNA that became part of us over 40 million years ago. There is concern that virally transmitted DNA may cause mutations and psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and mood disorders. GE organisms may exacerbate this phenomenon.

Please could you explain to us mothers who do not have much education. We are not from that elite like you who graduated from Tokyo university, Kyoto university, Keio and Waseda universities are living in Fukushima. We graduated only junior high or high schools. But the wish of mothers who want to protect the lives of own children is the same wherever you are in Japan, in the world… in Japan or in the world. We do not want elite like you who live in comfort in a safe place to decide the fate of our children.

Extremely High Radiation
An extremely high radiation level – approximately 4,000 millisieverts per hour – has been detected in the first reactor of the Fukushima nuclear power plant on Saturday.
According to Itar-Tass news agency, the radiation level surge might be caused by a spew of hot steam coming from a damaged pipe in the system; the steam’s temperature reaches 50 degrees Centigrade.

Golden Arches Resumes Accepted
Three ongoing military campaigns that are costing the US a fortune give no comfort for millions of unemployed Americans. Food stamps and a minimum wage are the only hope for many, just to avoid a life of hunger.

Eric Warrior, a McDonald’s Manager in New York shares his opinion about working for Ronald McDonald: "It's great working here. I was able to go from a grill person to a restaurant manager. The benefits? Ongoing benefits, working with people day in and day out.”
