Alex Jones Made CNN Producer Cry

Radio host Alex Jones says his CNN confrontation with host Piers Morgan last night was so volatile that one of the producers of the show burst into tears during the commercial break. According to Jones, the fact that the showdown became so out of control and off-script overwhelmed CNN staffers and sent them into a tailspin, including Piers Morgan Tonight producer Rachel Burstein, who began to shed tears.

Jones was supposed to appear in a third segment on the show to debate lawyer Alan Dershowitz, but CNN managers and Morgan himself were so outraged at his refusal to play ball that they changed the format of the whole program on a whim.

After the second segment, Morgan told Jones, “You’re done,” to which Jones responded by accusing Morgan of chickening out of the confrontation.

“We will defeat you,” Jones told Morgan, to which Morgan responded by snickering.

Jones said he also confronted Dershowitz on his support for creating warrants that would allow police and security services to torture suspects, adding that Dershowitz was not interested in debating Jones.

Before he even arrived at CNN center in New York, Jones described how he and cameraman Rob Dew were being followed around by undercover police.

TSA Plans On Tracking Every Move You Make, Everywhere

While the TSA can't explain why invasive patdowns without probable cause are legal, that isn't stopping TSA from future plans to track all your daily travels, anywhere you go, from work, to stores, or even when you go out to play.

When the TSA was asked to provide legal reasons that definitely spelled out why physically invasive patdowns are legal, without any probable cause, not one TSA person had an answer. There was no legal documentation for enhanced patdowns other than it serves "the essential administrative purpose."

Peep show, police state or privacy invasion, patdowns and body scans are not just in airports. EPIC said DHS is refusing to disclose details of mobile body scanner technology. In fact, in answer to EPIC's FOIA request, DHS handed over "several papers that were completely redacted."

Meanwhile at airports, the TSA is rolling out "less-invasive gingerbread man" body scanners to a tune of $2.7 million for 240 machines. At this point, I don't think skinnier versions of the Pillsbury Doughboy via kinder and gentler naked body scans are going to placate people who are secretly murmuring that America is truly becoming a police state. Spending countless billions of dollars on all this 'security theater' makes it look like the TSA is "doing their best to ensure that if there's a terrorist attack the public doesn't blame the TSA for missing it."

According to TSA Blogger Bob, in the 10 years after 9/11, there have been vast improvements and new technology as well as a "professionalized workforce" of Transportation Security Officers. Professional as in claiming no more enhanced groping of children under 12, only to break that promise and seemingly molest this little boy dressed as Spiderman?

The Los Angeles Times reported on TSA launching a behavior-detection program at Boston's Logan International Airport. These TSA officers received a whopping two weeks of training and are supposed to ask each passenger a "few" questions "in an effort to detect suspicious behavior." Doesn't this seem like yet another strike at your privacy?

 Some people are stressed or even nervous when they are traveling. What if you don't feel like talking or being questioned? Is this too going to become yet another TSA-mandated "you will answer if you want the privilege of flying?"

A MSNBC travel article warned that when it comes to airport security, "you ain't seen nothing yet." Some security analysts suggest Big Brother will employ an even Bigger Brother in the form of "chip-embedded passports that someday tell the federal transportation watchdogs all about your daily commutes to work, the mall — even to parties."

Other security analysts suggest it will all be about "gathering intelligence technologically" or that increased biometrics is the security answer. The Known Traveler Program will launch this fall so previously known and trusted travelers will "have bar codes stamped on their boarding passes, authorizing TSA screeners to allow those passengers to skip shoe and laptop removals." TSA Administrator John Pistole said, "Enhancing identity-based screening is another common sense step in the right direction as we continue to strengthen overall security and improve the passenger experience whenever possible."

So even though the TSA is building up its ranks with bomb-sniffing dogs, there will be dramatic changes in store for travelers within the next 30 years. There will be biometric fingerprinting as well as other biometric and personal info stored in government databases.

Senior policy analyst at the Center for Health and Homeland Security Vernon R. Herron told MSNBC that your official travel document "will not only have information as to who you are and where you have traveled, but it will also ... allow government officials to track your travel not only in the air, but your daily travels to work, grocery stores and social events."

 In the future the "government will detain passengers who have traveled to places that are suspicious in nature" once they enter an airport, Herron added. "All these measures seem extreme. However, after we declared a war on terror, we must be more proactive than reactive when it comes to airport security."

Ah, again with the "suspicious" lists even if it's places to which you traveled this time. Regarding the dreaded list after list of supposed suspicious activity, are they meant to keep the public in a state of paranoia and fear so they just roll over and watch it happen? Digg commenter leodin said, "Strange... The actual threat of terrorism hasn't increased, and the odds of actually dying in a terrorist attack make the lottery look like a sound investment, and yet the government seems insistent upon taking more and more measures to protect us from these imaginary threats."

It seems as if the massive DHS database of secret watchlists will continue to grow with U.S. citizens' names even if the threat of terrorism does not.

TSA To Implement Molecular Body Scanners

If you thought the x-ray scanners at the airport were bad, wait until you find out that TSA employees will soon know what you had for breakfast and how pumped you are to sit on a plane for twelve hours. Unfortunately, you won’t know what they know, because Homeland Security’s new toy is capable of detecting every molecule on your person from over 164 feet (50 meters) away—without your permission. CIA-Backed Company Develops New Scanners “Within the next year or two, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will instantly know everything about your body, clothes, and luggage with a new laser-based molecular scanner fired from 164 feet (50 meters) away. From traces of drugs or gun powder on your clothes to what you had for breakfast to the adrenaline level in your body—agents will be able to get any information they want without even touching you,” reports Gizmodo. The scanner was developed by Genia Photonics before being subcontracted by In-Q-Tel, a company founded in 1999 “by a group of private citizens at the request of the Director of the CIA and the support of the U.S. Congress.” Although the technology is not new, In-Q-Tel made it exponentially faster and more convenient to use—which has its own implications. Blatant Violation of Privacy Although the TSA says this technology would be used to detect explosive material, the scanners are capable of detecting countless types of molecules. Which ones will be tagged for further surveillance? The cocaine on a dollar bill you received in change after buying coffee? The used joint you unwittingly stepped on at the bus stop? (Let’s not forget Keith Brown, a father of three who had a sugar-grain-sized speck of cannabis under his shoe and was sentenced to four years in a Dubai prison.) Because of the device’s portability and ease of use, it may even begin to show up at athletic events, movie theaters, traffic lights, and bus and train stations. While this may, for whatever reason, seem like a welcome sense of security to some, it’s a blatant breach of the Fourth Amendment to our Constitution which protects citizens from unreasonable searches and seizures. Dick, and will likely do little more than result in false positives, delayed human and automobile traffic in already busy areas, and cluttered minds. Secret TSA Body Scanners 50 X More Lethal

A growing number of Americans are already outraged over the government's use of high-powered, ultra-revealing and potentially dangerous backscatter x-ray machines at a growing number of the nation's airports, and as bad as that problem is, it's about to get a whole lot worse unless Congress intervenes to stop the madness.

In the late 1990s, travel experts doubted the government would ever employ such machines in a security checkpoint role at airports or other locations. The terrorist attacks on 9/11 dramatically reversed that mentality to the point that now, no doubt afraid of being accused of doing "too little" to enhance security, lawmakers and select government agencies have done a complete reversal, permitting the use of high-powered x-ray machines to "scan" airline travelers (and perhaps, we near bus, train and other modes of travel in the future).

The all-knowing Transportation Security Administration insists the machines it is currently using - some 250 of them - are safe, but the agency relies primarily on its own in-house and government experts to support their claims.

The non-governmental experts speak

But other private-sector experts, including a bevy of health and radiation scientists cited by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, disagree. They include Dr. Russell Blaylock, M.D., a board certified neurosurgeon, who wrote:

The growing outrage over the Transportation Security Administration's new policy of backscatter scanning of airline passengers and enhanced pat-downs brings to mind these wise words from President Ronald Reagan: The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help you. So, what is all the concern really about - will these radiation scanners increase your risk of cancer or other diseases? A group of scientists and professors from the University of California at San Francisco voiced their concern to Obama's science and technology adviser John Holdren in a well-stated letter back in April (2010).

The letter he referred to was signed by doctors John Sedat Ph.D., David Agard, Ph.D., Marc Shuman, M.D., Robert Stroud, Ph.D., all of whom are faculty at the University of California, San Francisco. They wrote:

We are writing to call your attention to serious concerns about the potential health risks of the recently adopted whole body backscatter X-ray airport security scanners. This is an urgent situation as these X-ray scanners are rapidly being implemented as a primary screening step for all air travel passengers. Our overriding concern is the extent to which the safety of this scanning device has been adequately demonstrated. This can only be determined by a meeting of an impartial panel of experts that would include medical physicists and radiation biologists at which all of the available relevant data is reviewed.

These experts went on to say that even though the overall dose of radiation "would be safe if it were distributed throughout the volume of the entire body, the dose to the skin may be dangerously high."

Despite what the experts say, the government continues to employ more powerful x-ray machines

No matter. Again, the TSA knows better. And apparently, judging by the lack of concern shown by a majority of members of Congress, most of them agree with this rogue agency.

So, law enforcement agencies, including the TSA and others, are continuing to expand their use of x-ray scanners, "including machines that expose people to as much as 50 times more radiation than an airport scanner, and are sometimes using them on people without their knowledge or consent," AllGov.com reported.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is currently installing some 35 drive-thru x-ray gates that will scan vehicles at the border with passengers still inside.

New York City, meanwhile, has utilized specially equipped vans to scan vehicles for drugs and weapons, again while people are inside them.

Also, prisons have begun to use x-rays that can see through the body in search of contraband that may be hidden inside the bodies of prisoners - and jail employees as well.

Where are the government regulatory agencies?

The Food and Drug Administration, which is responsible for the safety of medical machines like x-ray equipment, apparently has no jurisdiction over their non-medical use, according to reports. So, they've done nothing about the use of x-ray scanners by police.

Zombified Workers With Their Trite Compliance Phrases

Tyranny is upon us. But tyranny isn't put in place by some all-powerful evil force that suddenly assaults our freedoms; it's ratcheted up one day at a time by the People themselves -- the government workers who are willing to do anything as long as they're told "it's the rules."

You'll encounter these brain-dead government workers everywhere: At the airport security line, your local city council meetings, and even at the local DMV. These are the people who blindly follow rules and regulations that often make no sense whatsoever, such as the TSA now shoving testing sticks into your drinks at the airport, presumable to test your beverage for explosives. Fortunately, there are some code phrases these people use which indicates their status as a brain-dead government worker -- a zombie drone -- who will do anything for a paycheck and the promise of power. I call these "obedience phrases."

For your amusement and safety, I hereby present these obedience phrases so you can instantly spot these wussified, zombified government enforcers in a future encounter:

"I'm just doing my job"
This phrase is usually uttered by some pot-bellied government tyrant who knows he or she is doing something highly immoral and possibly illegal.

Example: "I'm just doing my job" says the TSA security goon as he's reaching down the pants of your six-year-old under the ridiculous presumption that terrorists might be hiding in there.

If instructed by DHS to molest senior citizens at security checkpoints, TSA employees will gleefully obey, saying "I'm just doing my job" as they strip search your grandma and destroy her colostomy bag.

"It's required by regulations"
This obedient, brain-dead phrase is often uttered by private-sector workers who are quoting government regulations. More often than not, they're quoting the Patriot Act.

Example: You're at a bank trying to open a new account, and you say to the bankster, "So why do you need the physical address where I live, plus my social security number, plus all my financial records and numerous ID cards?"

The bankster replies, "It's required by regulations."

Oh, gee, then I guess that makes being info-jacked perfectly fine then!

The phrase, "It's required by regulations" is NOT a reason... it's a linguistic evasion of a reason!

"I have to, or I'll lose my job"
This is a favorite phrase of police officers who beat the crap out of some innocent woman and then fudge together a false report in order to place the blame on the victim. This just happened recently, by the way. Here's the video:

By the way, when East German soldiers shot people trying to escape East Germany by scaling the Berlin Wall, they said exactly the same thing: "I have to, or I'll lose my job!"

Because their job, you see, is far more important than your life.

"It's the law"
This phrase is usually uttered by some brain-dead collectivist rule-follower who can't think for themselves so they have to quote "the law" without thinking about what the law was really written for.

For example, when officials in Oregon recently arrested and jailed a man for collecting rainwater on his own land (http://tv.naturalnews.com/videoedit.asp?v=E9D083FE1A928B3B0145570778F...), they no doubt said during his arrest, "It's the law!"

So apparently, if some state writes a law that says, for example, all black people are sub-humans, then that makes it true, eh? I use this example because it's a part of U.S. history. The infamous "Dred Scott" decision, handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1857, declared that blacks brought to America as slaves were "sub-humans" and not accorded any protections under the U.S. Constitution. So does that make it right, then? Because it was the law? People who follow "the law" without thinking are not merely morons; they're dangerous to society as a whole. "The law" should never replace cognitive function.

Just because the Supreme Court declares something to be "the law" doesn't really make it so. Supreme Court decisions, remember, are nothing more than mental constructs which are agreed upon by certain members of society. If the Supreme Court declares all wage earners to be the property of the King, would you line up and obediently follow "the law?"

"If that were true, I would have already heard about it"
This is a favorite quote of a mind-numbed egomaniac who somehow thinks they already know everything. When you tell them something they have difficulty believing -- such as the fact that fluoride is a chemical pesticide that harms the brain -- they resort to this pathetic, wussified word collection: "If that were true, I would have already heard about it!"

This is a favorite phrase of doctors, by the way. Doctors are taught in medical school that they know everything and that nothing true exists outside whatever they are taught (brainwashed) in medical school. So when you tell a doctor something really simple like, "Oh, by the way, sodium nitrite causes cancer and it's found in hot dogs and bacon," the doctor will usually scowl and say, "If that were true, I would have already heard about it!"

Or maybe you're just an arrogant fool, doc. It takes a truly delusional person to think they know so much that they can't learn something new from time to time.

Watch out for these red flag "obedience phrases" of code enforcers and brain-dead rule followers
Rules are necessary, of course, in any civilized society. Speed limits make reasonable sense in neighborhoods, as do rules such as, "You can't burn down your neighbor's house."

But rules, laws, regulations and Supreme Court decisions should never be followed blindly. The gift of being human is the gift of having a conscience, a soul, a mind and the ability to discern right from wrong. If a law sounds wrong and feels wrong, it's probably a bad law and should be abandoned. If a regulation encroaches upon your Constitutionally-protected rights, that regulation should be aggressively rejected and reformed.

Rules, laws and regulations have no magical powers. They are fictional constructs of society.
They do not exist in the real world. They only exist in the minds of those who share in the delusion of their existence. As you are a being with free will and a soul, you can choose to reject delusional thinking and operate according to the fundamental principles of honesty, ethics and civility.

If you practice this, what you'll find is that most people in society today are technically insane. They have an almost fanatical belief in fictional constructs called "laws." They believe laws have magical powers and that regulations bind their thoughts and actions. In an effort to comply with all these laws, rules and regulations, they enslave themselves in a matrix of control. They are the desperate rule followers who ultimately drive every nation to ruin.

These are the people who always do what they're told: They line up for flu shots, they vote on voting day, they have their children vaccinated and they agree to undergo chemotherapy if their doctor tells them to. They are the great mindless masses that George Carlin called "Obedient workers!"

TSA's Bizarre New Screening Procedures

TSA Same Ole Behavior Profiling

A Michigan journalist suffering from a facial disability has described his treatment at the hands of a TSA behavioral detection officer as “frightening”, after he was detained and swabbed for explosives following a refusal to tell the agent what his business was on a domestic trip from Detroit to Grand Rapids.

Steve Gunn of The Muskegon Chronicle notes that he was approached by a female TSA agent at Detroit Metropolitan Airport and asked where he was going and why.
Gunn takes up the story…

“I’m headed home,” I replied.
Then she wanted to know where home was. That’s when the mental alarms went off and I realized I was being interrogated by Big Brother in drag.
I asked her why the federal government needed to know where I was going and what I would be doing. She explained that the questions were part of a new security “pilot program.”

Gunn then admonished the agent that he is a law biding American citizen and that his movement and business within the country is not restricted or beholden to the whims of the federal government.

“…we live in a free country where innocent people are supposedly protected from unwarranted government intrusion and harassment.” Gunn added.

The journalist then notes that the TSA agent yelled “WE HAVE ANOTHER REFUSAL” for all within ear shot to hear.

It has been previously noted that TSA agents purposefully resort to public humiliation tactics by yelling “WE HAVE AN OPT-OUT” when passengers request not to walk through body scanners.
“One of my bags was seized and I was momentarily detained and given a hand-swab, which I believe was to test for residue from bomb-making materials.” Gunn writes.

“I passed the bomb test and was told I could move on, but I hung around a moment and told everyone within listening range what I thought about this terrifying experience.” he adds.

In the wake of the recent furor over the claims that the TSA is using such so called “chat downs” to conduct racial profiling, Gunn’s case presents another interesting angle.

The writer notes that he believes the reason he was stopped by the behavioral detection officer was because he has “been suffering from a condition called “Bell’s palsy,” which includes temporary paralysis of all the muscles on one side of my face. I can’t smile, and the condition makes me look even grumpier than usual.”

The TSA does train its officers to look for out of the ordinary “facial expressions” as indicators of potential security risks.

“I suppose the government figures that grumpy looking people with droopy faces are potential terrorists.” Gunn suggests. “God help any stroke victims who try to travel. If they suffer from paralysis beyond their face they may be detained and questioned for weeks.”

As USA Today reported last week, the TSA’s Behavioral profiling program at Boston Logan has not proved at all effective. Out of 725,000 Logan travelers over the past year, just a fraction were referred for further screening, even less were referred to law enforcement, only a handful were charged with anything and not one single terrorist suspect was apprehended.

“TSA had to talk to 2,217 travelers, on average, to spot one who merited law enforcement attention. Not exactly a big reward for all that trouble and expense.” the report notes.
Urging his readers to call their representatives and tell them that the TSA “chat down” program should be scrapped,

Steve Gunn notes “This program is a bizarre and outlandish violation of the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which is supposed to protect us from “unreasonable search and seizure” by agents of the government, unless they have probable cause.”

Sacramento Evicts TSA

Sacramento International Airport is dropping the TSA and replacing all security screeners with private contractors after it was given approval to opt out of the TSA program.

The Airport will become the third largest in the country to ditch the TSA and hire private security. Only a few other airports have done so after Congress passed legislation earlier in the year, opening the door for the widely loathed federal agency to be marginalized from aviation security altogether.

Airport Director Hardy Acree told reporters that he believes private screeners can do a better job than federal employees. “I think there is going to be a higher level of customer service”, Acree said.

“It’s a win-win for everything has no bearing on security procedure or the processes the public has become accustomed to,” another Sacramento Airport official told CBS News.

Linda Beech Cutler added that the move “Makes us more flexible for staffing, for peak times and not being so staffed up for not so busy times”.
Passengers notified of the coming change approved, suggesting that they would feel safer with private security on hand.

“It might be better, less intrusive on us. I don’t like how the government runs their business,” said one flyer.

In San Francisco, where TSA screeners have already been replaced, private security has been a success. “It’s been awesome in San Francisco.” said one flyer. “They get travelers through faster, they do a better job finding test devices, and the morale is better than the TSA.”


Although the eviction of TSA screeners is growing, many will be concerned by the fact that in accordance with federal law, private contract screeners are still trained by the TSA, and must adhere to TSA procedures.

“They will issue proposals, evaluate the private security companies and ultimately choose the company that would operate here,” said Linda Beech Cutler .

The new security agents will still use TSA equipment (body scanners), will still wear TSA badges, and will still be overseen by TSA supervisors. Current TSA employees at the airport will also be able to apply to become part of the new private security team.

The TSA had frozen the ability for airports to apply to use their own private screeners. However, a law passed by Congress reinstated the right and now forces the TSA to reconsider applications to the Screening Partnership Program.
Sacramento Airport applied to opt out from the TSA program in April. Just one month prior to that application, another major airport, Orlando Sanford International, announced that it was also opting out of using TSA workers.

The agency has been slow to reissue the guidelines on the the rule change, prompting Republican Representatives John Mica of Florida, Darrell Issa of California and Jason Chaffetz of Utah to press TSA head John Pistole to implement the mandate.
Mica has personally written to 200 airports advising them of the opportunity to opt out of using TSA screeners.

The TSA has been keen to downplay the opportunity for airports to dispense with their screeners, fearing a mass exodus that could undermine the justification for the agency’s continued existence, especially given the fact that its reputation has been repeatedly savaged by a number of scandals, alleged privacy rights violations and intrusive pat-down techniques.

TSA Now Barking FREEZE At Passengers

If you thought the bizarre power trip behavior of the TSA couldn’t get any crazier – think again. According to a friend of political commentator Lew Rockwell, the federal agency is now ordering travelers passing through security to “freeze” on command.

Explaining how he had arranged with his family to split up as they were passing through airport security, the correspondent, whose story is posted at LewRockwell.com, explains how he heard a commotion from a different security lane.

We heard a “freeze, freeze” or something like this coming from the output side of (false) security (where my wife was), followed by further barking of commands. From where I was, I couldn’t see much.”

“It turns out they were doing a new drill. They want all passengers to freeze on command. My wife told me later that she didn’t follow this order fast enough, so the subsequent barks I heard were directed at her.”

TSA supervisors expressed little other than disinterest when the man’s wife complained at being ordered around in such an overbearing manner.

“I think back to when I was a child, playing and wrestling in the back of the station wagon on long trips – no seatbelts or child seats. Now we get yelled at in the airport. I don’t feel safer,” the post concludes.

If accurate, the new policy represents yet another pointless exercise of power that seems designed to achieve little else than harassing travelers and treating them like prisoners by aggressively demanding immediate subservience.

As we reported yesterday, the TSA is now demanding the right to test drinks purchased by passengers after they have already passed through airport security. The new policy serves only to further inconvenience travelers who have already gone through humiliating grope downs and body scanners.

In a subsequent response, the federal agency argued that the bizarre measuse was important because “unpredictable measure(s)” are neccessary to snare would be criminals and terrorists.

Presumably, these “unpredictable measures” now also include barking degrading orders at travelers as if they were misbehaving middle school children on a class trip.

As a TSA whistleblower told Infowars last month, far from just performing the role of screeners at the security gate, the TSA is now empowering its employees to fulfil all manner of invasive tasks.

“We’re doing patrols in the parking lot with dogs, we’re even going as far out to the train station because the train station is connected to the airport here and we have guys walking around the train station, walking around the rental cars, we’re inspecting cars coming into the parking garage, I mean we’ve fully expanded – we’re no longer just at the gate and just at the security checkpoint,” the whistleblower said.

We have contacted the TSA to ascertain whether the order for travelers to “freeze” on command was a one off incident, what its purpose was, and whether such behavior will now form part of the TSA’s security procedures.

The other day I had an interesting experience with TSA and it reminded me of an excellent article I read on your website by Gary North called "How To Gum Up Any Institution."

Gary told the story of Vladimir Bukovsky, who single-handedly grounded operations in the Soviet Gulag to a halt by using their own rules against them. It's an incredible story, and I recommend that anyone interested in defeating the State read it.

I was waiting in line to go through the X-ray machine/Porno Scanner. TSA was alternating sending folks through one or the other, causing major delays of course. After passing through, I was held up for another 10 minutes while my bags were in their X-ray machine because the traveler in front of me left his laptop in his bag. I have no idea why laptops must be removed from their bags, nor do I really care because every TSA rule is arbitrary and pointless to discuss.

But why did it delay all of the travelers behind this gentleman 10 minutes? Because TSA welfare cretins must follow the rules, just like the Soviets in Gary North's story. The person examining the bags going through cannot inspect the bag that he flagged for review. He cannot use discretion and allow it to pass (after all, if prudent judgment was his strength, he wouldn't be working for the TSA.) The officer has to yell "bag check!" and wait for a supervisor to come over. And wait. And wait. And wait. This is why TSA stands for Thousands Standing Around. Each person can only do one job at a time. There is no multitasking. If the supervisor is busy, as she was at this time, every other TSA perv continues their current duty – which basically amounts to staring into nothingness as they contemplate how they will spend their big government paychecks.

What followed was predictable. At first the TSA creep running the machine was apathetic to the delay this was causing us. After all, from his point of view, he's not getting delayed, nor does he really have any vested interest in making sure we have an enjoyable experience at the airport (which pretty much explains why no one ever has an enjoyable experience at the airport, by the way!) As time passed, I saw him getting unsettled in response to the grimaces and decreasing patience on our part. I did my best to look him in the eye with an expression that could only say "I want to eat your face." He made a couple of attempts to question the traveler's supposed stupidity in not following their so-very-important rules, but the offender – an Asian man – pretended not to hear him/speak English.

But while I was giving him the death stare, an idea occurred to me – an idea that was the result of reading North's article. I will never take my laptop out of my bag again, and I encourage all of your readers to do the same. It gums up the works. It grinds the entire operation to a halt without any serious ramifications to the offending traveler. (He gets a 1 minute pat-down and an even shorter, somewhat hilarious lecture on passenger safety.) But for the passengers behind him it is a huge hassle, having to wait for no apparent reason while they see dozens of TSA nincompoops standing around doing nothing.

Some might argue that this is passive-aggressive behavior created to deal with fear. My reply would be, so what? I admit that I'm afraid. I'm afraid I'll miss my flight. I'm afraid I'll get into a confrontation with an agent that will escalate. I'm afraid that I'll be put on a no-fly list, making it nearly impossible to visit family and friends. I readily admit my fears. Gumming up the works sure beats living in fear. It's something I can do, and do often, without having to worry about getting caged or beaten or banned.

Others might object that I'm making life miserable for innocent travelers behind me. I can understand that and I sympathize with that view. I know I didn't find it very pleasant to be delayed by 10 minutes. But as those who support the TSA always tell me, "If you don't like it, you don't have to fly."

So leave your laptop in your bag. Grind TSA operations to a halt with a simple act of non-violence. Then pretend you had no idea they had such a rule in the first place.

Congresswoman Reveals TSA Hires Pedophiles & Pornographers

Tennessee Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn has released a report documenting how the TSA is hiring “pedophiles and child pornographers” to conduct pat downs.

“This report details highly disturbing cases where pedophiles and child pornographers wearing federal law enforcement uniforms are not only patting down unsuspecting travelers, but in many cases stealing valuables from their bags. Enough is enough. It’s time for Congress to step in and demand accountability from Administrator Pistole,” Blackburn told NewsChannel5.

The report (PDF) contains 50 examples of “the TSA’s most dangerous officers,” listing innumerable examples of TSA agents caught engaged in criminal behavior, from assault, to theft, to child pornography, to molesting children, in cases documented from 2005 onwards.

Blackburn says the report illustrates how the federal agency “needs to immediately remove themselves from the human resource business,” adding that the decision to give TSA agents uniforms that mimic law enforcement agencies despite officers having next to zero law enforcement training was a critical mistake.

“TSOs and BDOs have zero federal law enforcement training despite their federal law enforcement titles, uniforms and metal badges. In many cases, TSOs and BDOs have less training than security guards in most states. For example, in California, security guards may receive permits to carry firearms, tear gas and batons. Due to their lack of training and abuse of power, TSOs and BDOs should return to the previous title and uniforms that were in use prior to the TSA administrative reclassification in 2005,” states the report.


The report also emphasizes how the fact that TSA agents are so routinely caught engaged in criminal behavior is by no means an aberration but stems “from TSA’s hiring practices and insufficient use of background checks.”

This includes the TSA’s recruitment policy which, instead of representing an “intelligent risk-based organization,” actually fails to conduct criminal and credit background checks on many of its employees while advertising “for employment at the Washington Reagan National Airport on pizza boxes and on advertisements above pumps at discount gas stations in the D.C. area.”

As we have previously highlighted, the TSA displays little regard for the character of those who employ to work in airport security. Indeed, in one example a spoof caller phoned the federal agency and pretended to be interested in a TSA job so he could act out his sexual perversions. The caller was treated seriously by a TSA staffer on the other end of the line.

When the spoof caller asked the TSA staffer if he could fondle breasts, the staffer responded, “If that is what is required by your job position – yes.”

The bill also enables future governments to update the technology (without restriction), and prohibits images or personal information from being stored or transmitted.

TSA Considers 18 Month Old Potential Terrorist

Eighteen-month-old Riyanna has been called a lot of things: cute, adorable and now ... a suspected terrorist.

She was called that on Tuesday night at the Ft Lauderdale Airport. She and her parents had just boarded a JetBlue flight when an airline employee approached them and asked them to get off the plane, saying representatives from the Transportation Security Agency wanted to speak to them.

"And I said, 'For what?'" Riyanna's mother told only WPBF 25 News on Wednesday. "And he said, 'Well, it's not you or your husband. Your daughter was flagged as no fly.' I said, 'Excuse me?'"

Riyanna's father was flabbergasted.

"It's absurd," he said. "It made no sense. Why would an 18-month-old child be on a no-fly list?"

Riyanna's parents, who asked not to be identified, said they think they know the answer to that question. They believe they were profiled because they are both of Middle Eastern descent. Riyanna's mother wears a hijab, a traditional head scarf. That's why they have asked to remain anonymous. They said they're concerned about repurcussions. That said, they are both Americans, born and raised in New Jersey, just like their daughter.

Riyanna's parents said once they were taken off the plane, they were met by TSA agents and made to stand in the terminal for about 30 minutes.

"We were put on display like a circus act because my wife wears a hijab," Riyanna's father said.
