If TSA Treats Senators Like Scum, What About You?

On Monday, U.S. Senator Rand Paul was detained by the TSA for about two hours at an airport in Nashville. By doing so, TSA officials directly violated the U.S. Constitution and they demonstrated once again why the rest of the world is coming to regard us as a bunch of disgusting, arrogant "pig people". Do we really want to get such a bad reputation that virtually nobody will ever want to visit this country?

We are going to absolutely destroy our tourism industry with this nonsense. Yes, we all want to fly safely, but other countries get the job done without their security officials running around acting like a bunch of Nazi prison guards.

The TSA should be shut down, but if Congress wants it to continue to exist it should be given a dual mandate. It should be directed to protect the dignity of the American people first, and the safety of the American people second. If those running the TSA don't believe that this is possible, then they should be immediately replaced, because there are a whole lot of good people out there that could get the job done. Right now, TSA officials are treating American citizens like they aren't even human.

The truth is that Rand Paul got off easy compared to what has happened to many other Americans. As I have written about previously, some elderly Americans have been strip-searched, some have had their adult diapers removed, and some have even been left covered in urine by invasive TSA searches. If the TSA will treat Senator Rand Paul like a scumbag, and if they will brutally strip-search elderly women, than what do you think they are going to do to you when the time comes?

I don't know about you, but I did not sign up to live in North Korea.

I signed up to live in America.

But the country we are living in does not look much like America anymore.

It is as if the U.S. Constitution does not even matter anymore.

When TSA thugs detained Senator Rand Paul, they directly violated the U.

DHS Secret Police

Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
November 17, 2011

Demotix has posted photos showing that the Department of Homeland Security now operates as a secret police force that arrests people at political events, the hallmark of all totalitarian governments.

The Federal Protective Service (FPS) arrested a photographer at Portland’s Terry Shrunk Plaza, which is adjacent to both City Hall and the Edith Green-Wendall Wyatt Federal Building.

he Department of Homeland Security describes the FPS as “a federal law enforcement agency that provides integrated security and law enforcement services to federally owned and leased buildings, facilities, properties and other assets.”

The location of Portland’s Terry Shrunk Plaza accounts for why FPS officers may have participated in the arrests, since the jurisdiction of the plaza is shared by both local and federal authorities, according to Rick Ellis, writing for the Examiner.

“FPS is working with the Portland Police Bureau to enforce the prohibition of overnight encampments at Schrunk Plaza, while protecting the safety and security of all involved,” said Chris Ortman, an agency spokesman, at the time of the photographer’s arrest.

Under Posse Comitatus, it is illegal for the federal government to collaborate with local law enforcement in the arrest of citizens.

Jurisdiction of Schrunk Plaza is shared jointly by the federal government, the city and the state of Oregon, The Oregonian explains.

Both the Portland Police Department and the Federal Protective Service have not responded to a request for more information on the arrest.

It was reported earlier in the week by a Justice Department official that local law enforcement has plotted its response to the OWS movement in coordination with the DHS, the FBI and other federal police agencie

Free Energy Give Away

Tom Valone is a former patent examiner who was fired years ago from the patent office and recently won a lawsuit against the US Patent Office. Tom was awarded reinstatement and six years of back pay. Dr Thomas Valone estimated that patent applications for FREE ENERGY related technology have been "secretized" over 3,000 times over the years.

In a 2001 email to Gary Vesperman, Valone wrote in part: Quote-"As a former Patent Examiner, I can tell you that the number of "securitized" patents in the vault at the Patent Office (Park 5 Bldg.) is closer to 4000 or more. They never receive a patent number, and the inventor is rarely, if ever, compensated by the government for use of the invention." The U.S. Patent Office has a nine-member committee that screens patents for national security implications. A hidden purpose of this committee is to also screen energy-related patents which could threaten the power and fossil fuel companies.'

Federal Judge Threatens Oakland Police With Takeover Due Pattern Of Abuses

Due to past law enforcement abuses, the Oakland Police Department (OPD) has been operating under the monitoring of a federal judge overseeing a consent decree since 2003.

Although it is difficult to set aside the deplorable record of the OPD in dealing with protesters for a moment - including Occupy Oakland advocates last Tuesday - it has a history of using excessive force on a daily basis. This includes the unnecessary drawing of guns, extortion and framing arrested individuals that is so egregious that the department may be put into receivership by the federal courts.

According to a September 11, 2011 article in the Bay Citizen, just a little over a month prior to the infamous Tuesday assault on Occupy Oakland, the federal judge overseeing the police department lambasted their conduct:

In a hearing that exposed the breadth of the problems facing Oakland, a federal judge blasted the Oakland Police Department Thursday for failing to make court-ordered changes designed to reduce police misconduct and abuse.

Before a courtroom full of city leaders and police department brass, U.S. District Court Judge Thelton Henderson highlighted a series of issues that "indicate to me the city and the department still don't get it."

Shortly prior to the assault on Occupy Oakland, the superintendent of the OPD resigned - after the scathing report by the federal judge - and Howard Jordan was appointed as interim chief of police. What was Jordan's prior role as assistant chief of the OPD? According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Jordan:

has been the Police Department's top authority on bringing the force into compliance with a consent decree ordered after four officers were accused more than a decade ago of systematically beating and framing suspects.

The consent decree is the most critical issue facing the department, as a federal judge warned last week that the city faces the possibility of having its Police Department placed in federal receivership due to its failure to fully comply with the court order. Such a move could result in the city losing control over its police budget, its biggest general fund expense.

Jordan, as interim superintendent, oversaw and directed the police action against Occupy Oakland supporters.

This federal consent decree is separate from the accord that the OPD was compelled to reach in 2004, which prohibits the use of potentially lethal and harmful suppression techniques against peaceful crowds, which BuzzFlash at Truthout pointed out they violated last week.

There's a thin blue line in law enforcement between enforcing the law and breaking the law. It's clear to US District Court Judge Henderson that the OPD keeps crossing that line.

Israel Training US Police

'A delegation of senior American police commanders is in Israel this week as part of a counterterrorism training seminar sponsored by the Anti-Defamation League.

The officials hail from New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. A senior officer from the Italian National Police’s Counter Terrorism unit is also participating in the seminar.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the program will provide them with an opportunity to “learn from each other and their Israeli counterparts.” “The participants will travel across Israel to interact with commanders from the Israel Police and learn firsthand how Israel deals with terror,” Rosenfeld said.'

US Cops Want To Erase Online Evidence Of Police Brutality

Google has been asked by a US law enforcement agency to remove several videos exposing police brutality from the video sharing service YouTube, the company has revealed in its latest update to an online transparency report.

Another request filed by a different agency required Google to remove videos allegedly defaming law enforcement officials. The two requests were among 92 submissions for content removal by various authorities in the US filed between January and June 2011. Both were rejected by Google along with 27 per cent of the submissions.

The IT giant says the overall number of requests for content removal it receives from governmental agencies has risen, and so has the number of requests to disclose the private data of Google users.

Brazil heads the first list with 224 separate demands to remove a total of 689 items from its search results, as well as from YouTube and various other services. Google says its social networking service Orkut is very popular in the Latin American country, which partially explains the number of requests.

Heading the list of countries requesting the disclosure of personal data is the United States, where a total of 5,950 submissions targeting 11,057 user accounts have been filed. Google fully or partially complied with 93 per cent of those requests. Second on the list is India, with 1,732 requests over a six-month period.

Russian officials filed fewer than 10 requests to remove content and 42 requests to disclose user information (which was the first time the number reached Google’s threshold for reporting). The company complied with 75 per cent of the Russian requests concerning content and none of those concerning user data.

Google says it hopes that its report will contribute to the ongoing public discussion on the ways the internet needs to be regulated.

Non Active Marines Called To #Occupy

A new group called Occupy Marines is calling on non-active duty Marines to support the "Occupy" protest movement.

The group was formed online to support the Occupy Wall Street protests after videos circulated online of a Marine confronting New York City police, questioning their tactics used against Occupy Wall Street demonstrators.

In a video that has received nearly 2.5 million views, Marine Sgt. Shamar Thomas of Roosevelt, N.Y. an Iraq War veteran, spoke out to police in New York's Times Square, charging that they were over-reacting to Occupy marchers - and shaming their uniform.

"This is a not a war zone," Thomas said. "These are unarmed people. It doesn't make you tough to hurt these people. If you want to go fight, go to Iraq or Afghanistan.

"Leave these people alone," he yelled. "They're U.S. citizens! U.S.! Stop hurting these people, man. Why are you all doing to it to our people?

"They don't have guns! It doesn't make any sense!

"How do you sleep at night? There is no honor in this.

NOTE: What a switch, someone in the military doing something for their country, instead of doing things TO other people and their countries.

Indigenous Protests Stop Road Through National Park

Bolivian President Evo Morales on Friday agreed not to build a road through an Amazon reserve amid pressure from Indians who had marched for 66 days to La Paz to protest the plan.

Morales made the announcement a little over an hour after protest leaders had gathered outside the presidential palace in hopes of holding talks with him, saying that he would submit a bill to Congress that addressed their demand.

The socialist president, who had insisted for months on the need for the Brazilian-funded road, said the bill will state that neither “the Villa Tunari-San Ignacio de Moxos highway, nor any other, will traverse the Isiboro Secure Indigenous Territory and National Park (Tipnis).”

Morales announced that the proposed legislation also will ensure that the Amazon Indians are shielded from the encroachment of outside groups of settlers.

The Tipnis residents have accused Morales of promoting the road project to give indigenous coca farmers in the Chapare region, which borders the reserve and is the president’s political stronghold, more acreage for growing the leaf, the raw material of cocaine.

Bolivia, like neighboring Peru, permits cultivation of coca in limited amounts for use in teas, folk medicine and Andean religious rites. Morales has combined stepped-up seizures of cocaine with efforts to develop additional legal applications for coca.

Protest leader Rafael Quispe, like Morales an Aymara Indian, said the bill was a “good sign” but he added the Tipnis inhabitants still have a list of 15 demands they want to discuss with the president.

Top 100 Stats About Our Economy

The U.S. economy is dying and most American voters have no idea why it is happening. Unfortunately, the mainstream media and most of our politicians are not telling the truth about the collapse of the economy. This generation was handed the keys to the greatest economic machine that the world has ever seen, and we have completely wrecked it.

Decades of incredibly foolish decisions have left us drowning in an ocean of corruption, greed and bad debt. Thousands of businesses and millions of jobs have left the country and poverty is exploding from coast to coast. We are literally becoming a joke to the rest of the world. It is absolutely imperative that we educate America about what is happening. Until the American people truly understand the problems that we are facing, they will not be willing to implement the solutions that are necessary.

The following are the top 100 statistics about the collapse of the economy that every American voter should know....

NOTE: Even "drunken sailors" have to quit drinking when they run out of money. Our problem is that the government doesn't intend to "cut" it's expenses, it just wants more money to support itself.

#Food Not Bombs

NOTE: The tyranny in the US far exceeds the worst totalitarian forces EVER. No country ever tried to rule medicine or food, except the US.
