In light of the string of the blatant falsehoods being announced by the U.S. government these days (FDA, DHS, White House, etc.) it's interesting that so many people still believe whatever they are told by "official" sources. It brings up the question of the functioning of their brains: How could a person swallow official information so gullibly and so completely without even asking commonsense questions about the reliability or factual basis of that information?
These people, it turns out, are operating from what I called The Gullible Mind. It is a psychological processing malfunction that filters out information based on its source rather than its integrity. People who operate from The Gullible Mind tend to have misplaced trust in governments, institutions, mainstream news networks, doctors, scientists or anyone who wears the garb of apparent authority.
Whereas a normal, intelligent person would raise commonsense questions about information they receive from all sources, the Gullible Mind wholly accepts virtually any information from sources that occupy the role of apparent authority in society.
NOTE: The two common links that appear to be present in people with gullible mind syndrome are that they watch TV and that they are nutritionally depleted, rejecting natural healthy foods and consuming false foods. Simply put, they are incapable of making intelligent decisions and must rely on a greater "authority" to spoon feed them the information that they are to believe.

Millions Of Acres Farmland Threatened By Floods
Torrential rains and melting winter snow continue to saturate the US Midwest. The water has already caused massive flooding and record swelling of both the Mississippi and Ohio rivers. And according to MPB News in Mississippi, the worst is yet to come as this deadly, 500-year flood is expected to wipe out nearly a million farming acres in Mississippi alone, not to mention the hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland in other states like Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee that also touch these bursting rivers.

EU Bans Most Herbs
After much deliberation, new European Union regulations have come into place banning hundreds of traditional herbal remedies. Under the guise of "protecting" consumers from these "dangerous" supplements, the European Union has opened the flood gates to an onslaught of new legislation designed to cut off access to alternative health supplements worldwide, setting the precedent for the government to tell us what we can and cannot put in our own bodies. The rules allow for only "long-established and quality-controlled medicines" to be sold to consumers, limiting the advancement of any new companies or establishments that the government does not deem to be "quality" by their own terms. This type of governmental regulation of nutritional supplements may soon spill over to the food industry, where government involvement may be even more cause for concern.
NOTE: This legislation has been coming for several years. Consumers do not want it, but that matters not. Pharmaceutical companies and the Medical Gulag do not want competition, it's bad for business and so is good health.

Radioactive Tritium Released Into Mississippi River
Workers at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Plant in Port Gibson, Miss., last Thursday released a large amount of radioactive tritium directly into the Mississippi River, according to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and experts are currently trying to sort out the situation. An investigation is currently underway to determine why the tritium was even present in standing water found in an abandoned unit of the plant, as well as how much of this dangerous nuclear byproduct ended up getting dumped into the river. Many also want to know why workers released the toxic tritium before conducting proper tests.

Some of Hollywood's "green" celebrities—Rosario Dawson and a bevy of starlets—thought they were promoting organic school gardens for inner-city kids. But the Environmental Media Association (EMA) teamed them up with a secretive corporation whose main business is selling Los Angeles sewage sludge products!
That company calls its Kellogg brand "quality organics" and deceptively labels bags sold at the garden store as "garden soil" made from "compost"—with no mention that they are made from industrial and human waste. Sewage sludge is hazardous material containing dioxins, PCBs, medical waste, industrial solvents, flame retardants, heavy metals, endocrine disruptors and other contaminants. That's why federal law bars the use of sewage sludge-based products in organic gardens.

Ukraine and Russia remember the Chernobyl disaster, which took place 25 years ago. In the meantime, the question of safety of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant still remains unsolved. A sarcophagus was built on the fourth reactor of the plant after the breakdown, but the sarcophagus has been falling to pieces slowly but surely during the recent years.
The largest nuclear disaster in the history of mankind took place in Chernobyl on April 26, 1986. The fourth power-generating unit of the plant exploded. The territory in the radius of 30 kilometers has been contaminated with radiation. Nineteen Russian regions - the total square of nearly 60,000 km2 and the 2.6-million-strong population - suffered from radioactive pollution. In Belarus, radiation affected 46,500 km2 of land, which makes up 23 percent of the total territory of the republic. The total square of radioactive pollution in Ukraine made up 50,000 km2 in 12 regions.
The Chernobyl nuclear power plant was shut down on December 5, 2000.

Therefore, in approximately five years, the shelter will no longer be able to contain the process of radioactive emission from the destroyed reactor. The question of the construction of the new shelter above the exploded reactor has been gaining more and more importance recently, RIA Novosti reports.

FDA Decides It Can Seize Any Food Any Time
Food and Drug Administration declared it no longer needs credible evidence to seize food that may be contaminated. Ignoring the Fourth Amendment entirely, the FDA claims that based on mere suspicion that a food product has been contaminated or mislabeled, and that serious illness or death will result, it can hold the food for 30 days while it then looks for evidence. It claims this power under the Food Safety Modernization Act, which President Monsanto, I mean, Obama, signed in January.
On May 4th, the FDA stated:
Previously, the FDA’s ability to detain food products applied only when the agency had credible evidence that a food product presented was contaminated or mislabeled in a way that presented a threat of serious adverse health consequences or death to humans or animals.
Beginning July, the FDA will be able to detain food products that it has reason to believe are adulterated or misbranded for up to 30 days, if needed, to ensure they are kept out of the marketplace. The products will be kept out of the marketplace while the agency determines whether an enforcement action such as seizure or federal injunction against distribution of the product in commerce, is necessary.
Credible evidence no longer applies, it seems.

I also stated that Fukushima hasn’t really begun… and it hasn’t. Chernobyl released a huge radioactive cloud when it blew up. Fukushima will exceed the Chernobyl release in a year no matter what else happens. It will easily exceed the fallout created by all 2000+ nuclear tests – which were stopped because enough tests make a nuclear war unnecessary. Once you irradiate all the plants and all the animals and all the fish and all the people, dropping bombs is superfluous.
Those melting nuclear cores aren’t going away. There are additional differences. Chernobyl didn’t dump radioactive water into the world’s primary fishing waters. Fukushima will have to dump highly radioactive water into the oceans for many years just to PREVENT a Chernobyl-type accident – Fukushima will be many times worse than Chernobyl and will continue for, possibly, hundreds of years.

Dangers Of Meat Glue
Meat Glue—Both Unethical and Potentially Dangerous
First, there's the obvious issue of misleading consumers. Since food manufacturers are not required to disclose what they've done, you think you're buying a prime cut when in fact you're paying top dollar for glued-together bits and pieces that would otherwise have been discarded or sold for a fraction of the cost.
But aside from the fact that it's a pure scam, there's the increased possibility of contracting food poisoning from these meats.
According to the featured report, the bacterial contamination of meat glued steak is hundreds of times higher than a solid piece of steak! Hence, if you cook your steak rare, which is the healthiest way to cook your meat, you're at a much greater risk of contracting food poisoning.
Additionally, when an outbreak does occur, it's difficult, if not impossible, to discern the source of the contamination, as chunks of meat from multiple cows have now been combined.
Food poisoning is a serious problem in the US. According to US CDC estimates, anywhere between 6 to 81 million Americans contract food borne illnesses each year, and food poisoning claims up to 9,000 lives annually. Considering the fact that our current food system encourages pathogens and contaminations of all kinds, it's not all that surprising that as many as one in four people get sickened each year…
Distillers grains are a byproduct of whiskey and fuel ethanol production. They have a very long history of being fed to livestock; the first study in the United States about feeding distillers grains to cattle was published in 1907.
The tremendous growth in fuel ethanol production has greatly increased the supply of distillers grains, resulting in increased interest in feeding them. Annual production of distillers grains (on a dry basis) was about 1 million tons in 1998, about 10 million tons in 2006, and is estimated to reach 16 million tons by 2010."
Sadly feedlot cattle are still being fed this slop. That's 16 million tons of distiller waste being fed to beef and dairy cows in the US in 2010. Wrap your head around that fact!

Fukushima Plays Shoot The Messenger On Radiation
TWENTY-FIVE years after Chernobyl, many billions of dollars are at stake if the Fukushima reactor meltdowns cause the so-called "atomic renaissance'' to halt or even slow down. This is evident from the nuclear industry's vociferous attacks on its critics.
We see this especially in Australia, where the industry is conducting a whatever-it-takes propaganda campaign to ensure that nothing stands in the way of vast profits to be made from continuing to export uranium; from the plan to establish a radioactive waste dump at Muckaty Station in the Northern Territory; and from the industry's desire to dot the continent with reactors.

Their first piece of disinformation is to confuse the effects of external and internal radiation. The former is what populations were exposed to when atomic bombs were detonated over Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

Children in Belarus, Ukraine and certain provinces of Russia tell us what to expect from a massive radiation contamination such as Japan is currently experiencing. Radiation attacks the young to a harsher degree than it does adults, and yet we do know that it kills adults. Radioactivity causes numerous illnesses including terminal cancers, and not just from a large initial dose but over time from absorbed emitting particles inside the body.
A senior nuclear adviser to the Japanese Prime Minister, professor Toshiso Kosako resigned in protest from his government. This as the Japanese government raised the level of permissible exposure to schoolchildren twenty fold, from 1mSv/year to 20mSv.
The atomic power industry, it can be proved, has been an unprecedented catastrophe for mankind.

Be Informed About Which Normally Healthy Foods To Avoid Now
We are all connected to Fukushima via the Jet stream. As the jet stream continues around the world radioactive particles will fall with rain, snow or as dust particles, before it continues it’s deadly circle.
Radioactive isotopes play no favorites, they will land on GMO garbage as well as organic fruits and vegetables. Animals that graze on contaminated soils will produce radioactive milk & meat, that is simple logic.
If your garden is planted in soil that has radiation, then the roots of your plants will take up the radioactivity, just as they would herbicides or fungicides, this too is simple logic.
The number of radioactive particles may diminish but the STRENGTH of each particle does not diminish.
Not everyone will be effected equally. Those who are “paranoid” or ultra perceptive will have already begun precautionary measures. I started on March 14 for humans, and on March 18 for animals.
First there will be pneumonia, then infant mortality rates will increase, although those numbers will be buried or obscured since they might spook the herd.
My personal health plan has several aspects, while I’m including extra detoxification and bone support precautions, many of these things are already a part of my normal healthy lifestyle.

Can The US Feed A Starving World?
Today, in 2011, the World Health Organization, projects that 18 million human beings will starve to death. (Source: www.worldhealthorganization.org ) That's eight million adults and 10 million children under the age of twelve.
In 2011, the United States virtually feeds Egypt with 82 million people and projected to exceed over 100 million by mid century.
Africa as a whole expects to grow from 850 million to 1.4 billion by mid century.
China, at 1.3 billion, adds eight million net gain annually while India adds another 11 million annually on their way to become the most populated country at 1.6 billion in 40 years.
As those countries continue adding enormous populations, they destroy cropland. At some point, they will not be able to feed their overwhelming populations. Can the United States feed a starving world without starving its own citizens? Answer: not a chance!
Lester Brown, author of Plan B, Mobilizing to Save Civilization, and director at www.earth-policy.org, gives his appreciation for what humanity faces in the next 40 years.
"In 1994, I wrote an article in World Watch magazine entitled "Who Will Feed China?" that was later expanded into a book of the same title," said Brown. "When the article was published in late August, the press conference generated only moderate coverage. But when it was reprinted that weekend on the front of the Washington Post's Outlook section with the title "How China Could Starve the World," it unleashed a political firestorm in Beijing.
"The response began with a press conference at the Ministry of Agriculture on Monday morning, where Deputy Minister Wan Baorui denounced the study. Advancing technology, he said, would enable the Chinese people to feed themselves. This was followed by a government-orchestrated stream of articles that challenged my findings.
"The strong reaction surprised me. In retrospect, although I had followed closely the Great Famine of 1959-61, during which some 30 million people starved to death, I had not fully appreciated the psychological scars it left. The leaders in Beijing are survivors of that famine. As a result of that traumatic experience, no leader could acknowledge that China might one day have to import much of its food. China, they said, had always fed itself, and it always would.

"I am a retired biologist who used to work in radiation biology. Just wanted to share with you what we've been doing lately. We live in the mid-Atlantic area of the U.S. We have a Geiger counter and have been testing daily for radiation (am and pm) since the Fukushima incident. Since March 11, our numbers normally are 25-30 cpm inside and 31-35 cpm outside (Geiger counter sits at an open window). This is within background radiation numbers. When it rains, the numbers rise to about 35 cpm for inside and 40 cpm for outside. Our grass reads around 50 cpm. I noticed today after I did some weeding (sunny day) and washing my hands that they read around 50 cpm. I had to wash them 3-4 times before the reading went down.
"Also noticed a couple of dandelions looking abnormal (their stems were twice as thick as others and heads were joined). Never saw that before.
"We had ordered kelp granules from the company Maine Coast three weeks ago. We typically use kelp in our foods, and this was a bigger order than usual because of the nuclear incident. Just got the shipment today! We tested the bags of kelp for radiation and they tested 182 cpm! We called the company but they had their answering machine on, stating that they won't be open until April 25th because they're doing inventory. We plan to return the kelp! Noticed the expiration date is April 16, 2013, which makes us wonder if they filled the order after the Fukushima incident (maybe April 16, 2011?).

Life with Geiger counters will become much more common in our futures as well as nuclear weather reports. They might as well have ripped a hole into another universe with so much hell to be released each month for as long as we can see into the future. Best-case scenario at this point would be several years of relentless radiation buildup around the world but most particularly in the northern hemisphere where it will be increasingly difficult to get uncontaminated food. Let's not even think of worst-case scenarios for not many of us will be around for long if such were to occur.
Authorities will keep everything under their hat for as long as humanly possible to avoid panic and migrations. With financial collapse on the horizon, private citizens will not be able to afford any movement anyway and will have to dig in and weather the radiation. With the help of the media, the entire populations of the north are caught like deer in the headlights and are totally unaware of and unprepared for this increasing nuclear radiation. In case no one has informed you, radioactivity makes it harder for our bodies to live.

Sun's Influence On Radioactive Decay

The problem with the result is that the answer the team provides for this unexpected mystery appears to be raising other questions in return.
According to the physicists in the new research, it could even be that the Sun is exerting its influence on radioactive matter through an elementary particle that has never been detected before.
“That would be truly remarkable,” explains Stanford professor emeritus of applied physics and solar expert Peter Sturrock. He was a part of the group that conducted the work..
According to established theories, the decay of a specific radioactive material is a constant. This idea is used to determine what radiation doses to give to cancer patients, as well as to calculate the age of samples using carbon-14.
Researchers at the Purdue University now contest the idea that the constant exist, basing their claim on a series of experiments which show the existence of disagreements in the measured decay rates of various radioactive isotopes.
The new data, proposed by Purdue physics professor Ephraim Fischbach, was tested and confirmed by teams at the US Department of Energy's (DOE) Brookhaven National Laboratory, and the Federal Physical and Technical Institute, in Germany,

Leahy Bill Passes
A once dormant bill to criminalize natural food and supplement producers is back in action. Attaching a prison sentence of up to 10 years is pretty serious for a possible ambiguous crime of adulteration and misbranding. Senator Patrick Leahy introduced this bill last year as S.3767, The Food Safety Accountability Act. Although amended, it is still too vague and ultimately considered a bad bill, even by the folks who effected its amendment.
Before we could report on the bill’s resurrection, it passed the Senate. In summary, it “Amends the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to impose an additional fine and/or a prison term of up to 10 years for knowingly violating prohibitions of such Act against adulteration or misbranding of any food, drug, device, tobacco product, or cosmetic, or against the introduction in interstate commerce of unsafe dietary supplements, with conscious or reckless disregard of a risk of death or serious bodily injury.” See how wide open that is?

As our nation’s worst man-made environmental disaster unfolded, it quickly became the lead story of the summer – with photos of oiled birds and video of gushing oil entrancing the American public, and the world.
Yet despite the barrage of around-the-clock coverage and the army of scientists studying the impacts, one of the stories that hasn’t made headlines is that in addition to the crude and toxic dispersants, the spill also released dangerous amounts of radioactive material into the Gulf.
Once the well was capped in mid-July of last year, mainstream media resources and the public were quick to turn away from the disaster and its far-reaching impacts on the environment, marine life, wildlife and, of course, people. Much like the oil itself – strategically sunk to the Gulf floor by BP’s use of the toxic dispersant Corexit – national news coverage of the spill’s effects has largely vanished, although we did see the expected round of first-year anniversary stories.
But still no mention of radioactive material.
