City Council Opposes Iran Slaughter

'The Charlottesville City Council in Virginia has approved a resolution that calls on Congress and the White House to refrain from launching any military action against Iran.

The resolution approved on Tuesday also urges Congress to end all current ground wars engaged in by the United States and to significantly reduce military spending. The document argues that the US high military spending has drained funds from its domestic priorities, including education, health care, energy and tax relief.'
