'Senior Iranian lawmakers react to the opening of a virtual US embassy for Iranians with some saying the move indicates Washington's disrespect for the people of Iran and others saying it is in line with American psywar.
Head of the Majlis (parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Alaeddin Boroujerdi added on Wednesday that the US government has no respect for Iranian citizens. If American officials behaved according to international respect, they would not place on their agenda fingerprinting Iranian nationals in all countries,” the Majlis official news agency, ICANA, quoted him as saying.
The lawmaker stated that imposing sanctions on passenger plane spare parts by the US is a war against the Iranian nation and not a war against the Iranian government and this “shows that the US has no respect for Iranian nationals.”'
