A veteran San Jose police officer was arrested Wednesday on suspicion that he engaged in sexual acts with a two teenage boys.
Police from Gilroy took Patrick D'Arrigo into custody at the San Jose Police Department where he was charged with unlawful sex activity with a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy.
D'Arrigo was a campus officer at Leland High School in San Jose from 1996 to 2007.
The boy's names are being witheld because of their ages.
"This is a difficult time in the department," said San Jose police Chief Chris Moore. "I'm extremely concerned about the nature of the crime and it's my concern that there may be other victims."
The Gilroy Police Department reportedly began investigating D'Arrigo two years ago when they received information about the man having parties at his home where he apparently provided alcoholic beverages to minors beforee having sex with them, sources said.
During their investigation, the police identified the two minors as possible molestation victims. Their names have not been released due to their age.
